                         Slipknot é uma banda dos Estados Unidos que canta músicas estilo hardcore a música mais conhecida deles é Surfacing eles apresentaram essa música no Rock 'n Rio 2012 a banda foi formada em 1995 e até hoje apresentam em shows em 24 de maio de 2010 em 4 de dezembro de 1995 em um clube chamado Called Crowbar em Des Moines. Logo depois, Jordison teve a idéia de trocar o nome da banda de '' The Pale Ones''  para "Slipknot".
